Lead Receiving Coordinator

ABOUT GCS Global Computer Sales buys used technology, brings it back to sale-ready condition and ships it to buyers. Docking stations make up most of our volume, and a growing share is laptops, phones, memory and storage drives. Every one of those products starts its journey in Receiving. ABOUT THE ROLE We’re hiring a hands-on Lead Receiving Coordinator to run our receiving and repair coordination. You’ll lead the people who check in every shipment, decide what gets worked first, and make sure each product is counted, tested, labeled and recorded correctly before it moves to the next department. If you like an organized floor, clear priorities and getting the details right, this role is built for you. WHAT YOU’LL DO ■ Lead the team. Plan each day’s receiving work, assign tasks with clear deadlines and confirm they’re done right. ■ Get receiving right. Oversee small-parcel and freight check-in, counting, inspection, labeling and inventory entry. ■ Run testing. Lead receiving test processes, verify results and work with the Repair Lead on items that need repair. ■ Keep priority orders moving. Track urgent purchase orders and keep products linked to their orders from arrival through testing and final routing. ■ Manage returns. Oversee customer and vendor returns and keep return-to-vendor items separate from sellable inventory. ■ Solve problems. Investigate shortages, wrong items, labeling errors and inventory discrepancies, then fix the cause. ■ Work across the warehouse. Coordinate handoffs with Tech, Inventory, Clean & Prep and Shipping, and train employees on our procedures. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Parcels are scanned within two hours and freight is logged the same day. Priority orders always have an owner and a next step. Receipts pass audit at 99% accuracy or better, and no product moves without the right paperwork. WHAT YOU BRING ■ Warehouse receiving or inventory experience, including directing daily work and training others. ■ Accuracy with counts, purchase orders, product identification and computer records. ■ Clear communication, dependable follow-through and calm problem-solving when things get busy. ■ Comfort with inventory software and digital task tools. We use Finale, ClickUp and Slack and will train you on them. Nice to have: experience receiving or testing computers and electronics, repair coordination, returns processing, and English and Spanish communication. WORK ENVIRONMENT On-site warehouse work that includes standing, walking, bending and handling product, with lifting up to 50 lbs.
