Lead mover

Job Overview As a Lead Mover, you’ll guide a moving crew through safe, organized pickups and deliveries. You’ll drive or support operation of a box truck or van, coordinate loading and unloading, and keep customers informed throughout each job. This hands-on role combines moving, delivery driving, warehouse operations, and customer service. Duties Lead the crew in packing, loading, unloading, and placing items; use safe lifting practices and follow workplace weight-handling procedures. Operate a box truck or van on assigned routes, follow traffic regulations, and handle delivery paperwork using mobile devices. Coordinate pickups and deliveries, communicate clearly with customers, and resolve routine service questions professionally. Use dollies and other material-handling equipment safely; keep vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas orderly. Your impact: Careful handling and clear customer updates help protect customers’ belongings and make each move more dependable. Experience Required: Moving or delivery driver experience, manual handling, safe lifting, and a strong customer-service approach. required professional moving experience, warehouse operations, material-handling equipment operation, dolly use, route driving, or courier and van-driver work. Experience with commercial driving, commercial truck driving, personal vehicle delivery, and box trucks is helpful. Ability to load and unload heavy items safely; familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is preferred. To be considered for this position and top tier pay, we require you have at least 2 years exp as a lead mover, personal exp is helpful, but won’t get you the top tier pay. Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Work Location: In person
