Lead Mover and Warehouse Operations

Studio126 is a Denver-based home staging and interior design company looking for a dependable, hardworking Lead Mover + Warehouse Operations team member to become a trusted part of our growing business. This is more than a traditional moving position. Our team handles furniture and décor, works inside beautiful homes throughout the Denver and Boulder areas, organizes and maintains our staging warehouse, and helps make our staging installations and removals run smoothly. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates well, and can eventually be trusted to lead moving days without constant supervision. What You'll Do Have your license, the ability to rent a truck, and able to operate up to 26 ft trucks Lead furniture loading, unloading and transportation for home staging installations and removals Safely handle furniture, artwork, rugs, accessories and other staging inventory Help plan efficient loading and unloading of the truck Protect furniture and client properties from damage Direct and work alongside another mover during installations and removals Keep the warehouse organized, clean and functional Return inventory to its proper location after removals Assist with receiving and organizing new inventory Identify damaged items or inventory requiring repair Complete occasional furniture assembly and minor repairs Communicate clearly about schedules, delays, damages or issues Represent Studio126 professionally while working inside clients' homes Eventually manage moving and removal days independently when appropriate Who We're Looking For: The right person is someone we can trust with our inventory, our warehouse, our clients' homes and the reputation of our business. You are: Reliable and punctual Honest and straightforward A strong communicator Comfortable taking responsibility and solving problems Careful with furniture and other people's homes Organized and attentive to detail Physically capable of moving furniture safely throughout a workday Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team Respectful, professional and easy to work with Someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, even when nobody is watching Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, furniture or home-staging experience is strongly preferred. Leadership experience is a plus. Trust is a big part of this role. Our moving team works independently in our warehouse and inside our clients' homes. We need someone who is dependable, communicative and honest. Things happen—traffic, damaged furniture, scheduling issues, mistakes. We don't expect perfection.
