Lead Hand Delivery Driver

We are a local, white-glove delivery service specializing in the transport, assembly, and installation of high-end furniture. We partner with interior designers and their clients who expect professionalism in all we do. We are currently looking for a motivated Delivery Driver / Swamper who is eager to learn our standards and transition into a Lead Hand role on our deliveries. We are looking for a future leader. You will start by working alongside our current team on our white-glove delivery process, with the goal of setting you up to lead our delivery team with a delivery assistant/swamper. General Job Description Delivery & Placement: Safely transport, load and unload, and unpack and position high-end furniture inside the homes of our valued customers. Expert Assembly: Carefully assemble furniture pieces according to manufacturer specifications and designer preferences. Site Cleanliness & Sustainability: Remove all delivery debris and packaging materials from the client's property. Responsibly sort garbage from recyclable materials before disposal. Customer & Partner Interaction: Act as a professional representative of New Age Delivery, collaborating directly with interior designers and homeowners to ensure their exact vision is realized. Requirements Customer Service Excellence: You are naturally personable, polite, patient, and detail-oriented. You understand how to navigate home environments with care and respect as if it was your own. Strong Teamwork: Outstanding communication skills, both when working internally with your delivery partner and when collaborating directly with customers and designers. Physical Capability: Heavy lifting is a core part of this role. You must be able to comfortably and safely lift, carry, and maneuver 75 to 100 lbs on a regular basis. Reliability: A dependable professional who shows up on time, every day, Monday through Friday. Requirements: A valid B.C. driver's license with a clean driving record – will be asked to provide. Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. English language must be fluent or above-average. Able to take instructions and give clear instructions. Experience driving delivery vehicles (cube, 3-tonne, 5-tonne) is preferred but not required. Experience driving a fork-lift is preferred but not required. Experience in furniture moving and/or installation would be an asset. Warehouse experience is an asset but not a requirement. We offer: Competitive hourly wage, inline with industry standards and experience. Consistent daytime hours (30–40 hours a week), Monday to Friday. Clean work pants and proper seasonal footwear will be required. Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
