Lead Electrician/Foreman

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Electrician/Foreman to oversee electrical projects on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency from start to finish. This role is vital in coordinating electrical installation activities, supervising teams, and managing project timelines to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction site experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and construction management software. Duties Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications. Coordinate daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately. Manage procurement of materials, review contracts, and oversee budgeting to optimize resource utilization. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Primavera for scheduling, documentation, and project tracking. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations such as OSHA. Oversee project documentation including schematics, OHMMeter readings, and site reports for accurate record-keeping. Skills Proven experience supervising electrical construction projects with strong leadership and management skills. Expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting. Proficiency with construction management tools including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management software. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Skilled in using testing equipment such as Ohmmeters for quality assurance purposes. Strong understanding of contracts, project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating processes.
