Be the tech everyone else calls over. When a truck has the whole bay stumped, you’re the one who finds the problem. You know your way around a scan tool, you trust your own diagnosis, and you can explain the fix to a customer without talking down to them. We’re looking for that tech to lead our second shift in Oak Creek. A Second Shift That Leaves You a Life Most second shifts eat your whole evening. Ours doesn’t. You’ll start around 11 a.m. (we’re flexible on that) and you’re done at 7 p.m. That leaves your mornings free and your evenings at home. What Your Day Looks Like Run second shift as a working lead. You stay on the tools while keeping the team moving and helping them get unstuck. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, and drivetrains. Take on the hard diagnostic jobs, the intermittent faults and the “nobody can figure it out” trucks, using scan tools and diagnostic software. Walk customers through what’s wrong and what it takes to fix it, clearly and honestly. Keep work orders accurate and the shop on schedule. What You Bring Several years of diesel repair experience and diagnostic skills you’re known for Experience as a lead or senior tech, whether you had the title or just did the job The ability to explain technical problems in plain language, to both customers and coworkers Integrity: you do it right the first time and tell it straight Your own hand tools and a valid driver’s license What You Get Strong pay and an excellent benefits package A real leadership role without giving up the work you’re good at Steady, year-round work at a shop that respects experienced techs and treats them that way Easy Commute We’re right off I-94, an easy drive from Milwaukee, Franklin, South Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha. Ready to lead the shift? Apply today. We’d like to hear about the toughest diagnosis you’ve ever cracked.
