Lead Dermatology Medical Assistant

Dermatology Experience Only Hudson Dermatology & Laser Surgery is hiring an Experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant/ Clinical Supervisor for their location in Hudson Yards. Our office has now 2 floors where one of them is a mix of medical and cosmetic dermatology, and the second one which will be open in January is a Longevity suite/Cosmetic Research Institute. Our office is fast growing, pretty challenging to manage as it requires multi-tasking, easy adaptability to many changes at once but overall, we try to do all we can to have a very warm/friendly environment that encourages personal growth. Responsibilities: Assisting the Dermatologist in all procedures/Cosmetic experience is a must. Managing clinical department fully (team of 9 MAs). Providing top-notch customer service and care to the patients. Phlebotomy. Inventory Management and Budgeting for it. Compiling medical records, prescriptions, PAs, clinical patient needs, and charts. Training MAs from scratch. Serving as a Liaison between Providers and Management. Developing and Implementing policies/SOPs. Launching additional locations with COO. Team player/pleasant personality/comfortable with constructive criticism/Organized/detail oriented/able to resolve conflicts and move on quickly. Required Skills: Direct Patient care. Cosmetic Dermatology. Phlebotomy. Medical terminology. Electronic medical records. Supervision/Management. Scheduling. Customer service. Customer billing. Data entry. Communication. Telephone skills. Computer literacy. Organization. Multi-tasking. Attention to detail. Teamwork. CRMs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree minimum. 3 years of medical assistant experience MUST. 1 year of Cosmetic dermatology experience required.
