Lead Delivery Driver – White Glove Appliance Delivery & Installation

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Lead Delivery Driver to join our white glove appliance delivery and installation team. This position involves operating a 26ft box truck, transporting household appliances, and working alongside a delivery helper to ensure appliances are delivered, installed, and handled with care. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent customer service skills, and can efficiently manage daily deliveries while maintaining a professional attitude.. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to complete scheduled appliance deliveries. Lead a two-person delivery team consisting of a driver and helper. Load, secure, transport, and unload household appliances. Deliver and install refrigerators, washers and dryers as assigned. Properly use moving equipment, including appliance dollies, straps, and protective materials. Protect customers’ homes, floors, walls, and doorways during deliveries. Inspect appliances for visible damage before and after delivery. Complete delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures, and report any issues. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and the delivery helper. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery truck. Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally. Qualifications &* Requirements* Valid driver’s license with a clean and acceptable driving record. Previous box truck driving experience preferred. Experience in appliance delivery, furniture delivery, moving, or white glove services strongly preferred. Experience installing household appliances preferred. Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy appliances with assistance. Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and work effectively with a delivery helper. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Comfortable using a smartphone for delivery updates, navigation, and documentation. Ability to pass applicable background and driving record checks. What We’re Looking For We want someone who understands that white glove delivery is more than simply dropping off an appliance. Every delivery should be completed with attention to detail, care for the customer’s property, and excellent service. We are building a dependable two-person delivery team and are looking for a lead driver who can take responsibility for daily routes while working closely with an assigned helper.
