Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct classroom onboarding and training sessions for new drivers.
• Engage with the Safety Performance Team to prioritize safety initiatives.
• Mentor new drivers on company policies, procedures, and performance compliance.
• Perform customer site evaluations to assess delivery feasibility.
• Collaborate with Night Warehouse Supervisors on safety demonstrations and visual aids.
• Conduct post-accident ride-alongs to identify root causes and provide re-training as needed.
• Participate in offsite training and development activities.
• Complete all mandatory company training and assessments including the US Foods Driver Onboarding program.
• Safely operate delivery trucks and meet customer delivery schedules.
• Unload and deliver products using two-wheel carts, pallet jacks, or manually to designated storage areas.
• Verify accuracy of deliveries and obtain proper signatures from customers.
• Process collections and payments from customers as applicable.
• Provide exemplary customer service to enhance client experiences.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs of product repeatedly throughout each shift.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and make frequent stops.
What You Bring:
• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A issued by state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Preference for ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
