Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Delivery Driver / Team Lead (Tenured) to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will do daily delivery operations, coordinate coworkers, and ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of goods. Your leadership will drive excellence in customer service, uphold safety standards, and optimize route execution. Responsibilities Lead a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and safety compliance Lead the loading and unloading of goods using manual handling techniques Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining excellent customer service standards Monitor adherence to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and company policies during all driving activities Conduct regular safety checks on vehicles such as box trucks and vans, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain detailed logs, vehicle inspections, incident reports Skills Extensive warehouse experience combined with commercial driving expertise in box trucks, vans, or heavy-duty trucks Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving, load & unload procedures, and manual handling skills Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Ability to operate material handling equipment Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during personal vehicle or commercial deliveries Experience managing warehouse operations or logistics workflows is highly desirable Competence in using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and route adjustments Join us as a Lead Delivery Driver / Team Lead (Tenured) to make an impact through your leadership skills and delivery expertise.
