Responsibilities Supervise cashier team members to ensure accurate and efficient retail sales transactions using POS systems Handle cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and cash handling procedures with precision Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopping experience Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance sales opportunities and promote store merchandise effectively Oversee stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Train new cashiers on store policies, POS usage, phone etiquette, and customer service best practices Assist with retail store product knowledge dissemination and support sales initiatives through proactive communication Qualifications Proven supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment with leadership capabilities Strong proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual options preferred to serve diverse customers effectively Demonstrated ability to perform retail sales transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers and boost sales Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with grocery products is a plus Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach Join us as a Lead Cashier and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier shopping experiences.
