Lead Carpenter / Subcontract Crew – Decks, Fences & Remodels

Farrar Brothers LLC is looking for an experienced lead carpenter or established subcontract crew to handle residential projects including decks, vinyl fencing, pergolas, framing, demolition and smaller remodeling projects. I’m looking for someone who can take a clearly defined project and run it without needing constant supervision. This is a good fit for an experienced carpenter or small crew that takes pride in clean work, communicates well with homeowners and can keep a job moving. RESPONSIBILITIES: Run deck, fence, framing and remodeling projects from start through completion Read plans, measurements and project scopes Coordinate a helper or small crew when needed Maintain a clean and professional jobsite Communicate progress, material needs and issues before they become problems Complete work to Farrar Brothers LLC quality standards IDEAL CANDIDATE: Strong residential carpentry experience Deck and framing experience required Fence/remodel experience strongly preferred Reliable transportation Own basic tools Able to work independently and manage a job Dependable, professional and comfortable communicating with homeowners Licensed/insured subcontractors or established crews are encouraged to contact us COMPENSATION: The listed wage is a place holder. Pay will be discussed and based off experience. Competitive and based on capabilities and whether the applicant is an employee/lead carpenter or an established subcontractor/crew. We’re more interested in finding the right person who can produce quality work independently than finding the cheapest labor.
