Lead Bookkeeper (Inventory Costing & Operations)

Job Overview CFH Procurement Inc. is an established industrial sourcing and procurement company located in Wentzville, Missouri. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Lead Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting transactions, supply chain records, and financial organization. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, and inventory-related accounting without responsibility for authorizing or executing banking transactions. You will work extensively in QuickBooks Enterprise, prepare weekly financial reports, and maintain accurate inventory costing records, including landed costs associated with international shipments. CFH follows a prepare-and-approve process, meaning the bookkeeper is responsible for preparing accurate financial records, reports, and payment documentation, while company ownership retains final approval and responsibility for executing banking transactions. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable using QuickBooks Enterprise or QuickBooks Desktop. Compile weekly financial reports. Match receiving sheets and supporting documentation to inventory records. Calculate and maintain accurate landed costs for international shipments, including freight, duties, and tariffs, in U.S. dollars. Exceptional organizational discipline to build audit-ready documentation bundles. Qualifications Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable using QuickBooks Enterprise or QuickBooks Desktop. Solid understanding of inventory accounting and landed-cost calculations. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to maintain accurate records and supporting documentation. Ability to independently manage assigned bookkeeping responsibilities.
