Compensation within the listed pay range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skills. Schedule: Flexible AOG Schedule Job Summary The Lead AOG Technician / Senior A&P Technician independently performs aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs. This hands-on role prioritizes technical ability, customer service, and billable productivity while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities - Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs safely, accurately, and on schedule in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and Company procedures (RSQCM). - Document discrepancies, corrective actions, and shift turnover; coordinate required sign-offs with IA personnel and management. - Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentoring to technicians and apprentices. - Coordinate and prioritize work to meet operational and customer deadlines and support efficient productivity. - Serve as the shift’s maintenance contact and escalate parts, workmanship, and airworthiness concerns. - Maintain proper parts tagging, handling, and storage; keep work areas and equipment safe and operational, and maintain required personal tooling. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of business aviation maintenance experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, inspections, and AOG repair experience. Experience with Citation, Challenger, Gulfstream, Falcon, or other business jets. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Primarily a hands-on, billable technician position. Capable of coordinating with other technicians and contractors when needed. Responsible for local parts receiving, documentation, tooling, and coordination with our centralized Materials Department. Strong customer communication and service skills. Familiarity with FAA Part 145 requirements and proper maintenance documentation. Willingness to work flexible AOG hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to travel when necessary.
