Laundry Equipment Delivery Driver

Job Summary Carousel Laundry of Lyndon is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Laundry Equipment Delivery Driver to transport and deliver laundry equipment, supplies, and related materials to designated locations. The ideal candidate is responsible, organized, and committed to providing professional customer service while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule. In this role, you will help load, transport, unload, and position laundry equipment as needed. You will also verify delivery information, maintain accurate records, inspect delivery vehicles, and coordinate with team members to support daily operations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver laundry equipment, parts, supplies, and related materials. Review delivery schedules, work orders, and route information before departing. Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using appropriate handling procedures. Assist with moving and positioning washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment at delivery locations. Verify delivery items, quantities, and customer information for accuracy. Obtain delivery confirmations and complete required paperwork or electronic records. Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery timing and instructions. Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow traffic laws, company driving policies, and safe lifting procedures. Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained. Coordinate with warehouse staff, dispatchers, technicians, and supervisors to resolve delivery issues. Report damaged equipment, missing items, delays, or other problems promptly. Assist with warehouse organization, inventory handling, and other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated. A safe driving record and commitment to responsible driving. Previous delivery, transportation, warehouse, or equipment-handling experience preferred. Experience transporting appliances or heavy equipment is an advantage. Ability to follow delivery schedules, route instructions, and safety procedures. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Dependable attendance and a professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment with proper assistance and lifting techniques. Willingness to assist with loading, unloading, and basic delivery-site tasks. Commercial driver's license may be required if the assigned vehicle or applicable regulations require one. Work Environment This position involves driving, warehouse activities, customer-site deliveries, and handling laundry equipment and supplies. Work may require extended periods of driving, frequent entry and exit from vehicles, and physical activity during loading and unloading. Employees must use appropriate safety equipment and follow established procedures when handling heavy or bulky items.
