Moving company, furniture delivery, or FedEx experience? You're exactly who we're looking for - FedEx Ground Large Package Driver in Ooltewah, TN, $200-$220 a Day, Weekly Pay, No CDL Required! Atlas Route Inc. is hiring a Large Package (LP) driver out of our Ooltewah, TN terminal, running Chattanooga ZIP codes 37421 and 37416. This is a direct hire position - not seasonal, not a temp job. This is not a standard step van route. You'll run fewer stops than a regular driver, but every package is a heavy one - FedEx calls these NC's and IC's. Packages typically run 25 to 150 lbs. If you'd rather make fewer stops with real freight than run a hundred small ones, this is your route. Who we're looking for: If you've worked for a moving company, run large package or furniture delivery, or driven for FedEx before, you already know this work and you'll feel right at home here. Box truck experience is a big plus. This is a FedEx 2.0 terminal, meaning drivers also handle FedEx Express packages in addition to Ground - because of this, drivers must pass a Security Threat Assessment (STA) application as part of onboarding. The Job: - Drive a 16-20 ft box truck - Load and inspect your assigned vehicle before each shift - Run your route in Chattanooga 37421 and 37416, delivering large and heavy packages safely and on time - Handle packages typically in the 25-150 lb range, using a dolly and proper lifting technique - Use GPS and a handheld scanner to navigate and confirm deliveries - Wrap up your day back at the Ooltewah terminal Hours: This is a late dispatch route - you'll start anywhere between 10:30 and 11:15 AM and run until your last stop is done.
