Compensation Annual Pay Range: $99,061.31 - $125,009.44 Hourly Pay Range: $47.625630 - $60.100692 Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on the candidate's experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position. Clackamas County Department of Transportation & Development (DTD) is seeking a motivated, experienced, and collaborative professional to join our Transportation Engineering & Construction team as a Land Surveyor. If selected for this position, you will provide professional surveying expertise in support of roadway, right-of-way, and construction projects throughout the County. You will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge, field experience, and problem-solving skills to projects that directly support the County’s transportation infrastructure. Required Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills:* Possession of a valid and active registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in any state (U.S.) at time of hire Please see the Post- employment Requirements with regard to the State of Oregon registration as a Professional Surveyor A minimum of one (1) year of related experience working with surveys related to transportation infrastructure projects, and/or roadway and transportation systems Experience conducting research and preparing drawings, maps, legal descriptions, and/or survey-related documents Experience providing customer service to the public as well as to other stakeholders, such as other jurisdictions, private consultants, and project managers Preferred Qualifications/Transferable Skills:* Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration in the State of Oregon Experience reviewing and approving legal descriptions and construction surveys Proficiency with modern survey technologies, such as GNSS, LiDAR, elect…
