Labourer, Parts Runner

Join SMS Equipment in Fort McMurray, AB, as a Labourer, Parts Runner and play an important role in supporting daily branch operations. In this position, you will coordinate accurate, timely pickups and deliveries of parts and materials coming into and leaving the branch, while providing general labour support to the department as required. Base Wage : $38.69 per hour. Additional premiums may be applicable. Location: Fort McMurray, AB. Schedule: 5x2 (Monday to Friday) What You’ll Do Daily delivery and pick up of goods throughout town and different customer sites multiple times per day. Completing and receiving documentation for delivery and or pick-up of goods. Performing general cleaning and shop work. Completing equipment checks and confirming parts shipping and receiving information. Warehouse work as required, which includes the use of computers, shipping and receiving parts, stocking shelves, picking parts and operating a forklift. What You Bring The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma and previous experience in a similar role. Other requirements include, but are not limited to: Previous warehouse or logistics experience. Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract in a Canadian jurisdiction. Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong focus on providing valuable customer service. Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite and computerized inventory systems. Certified with BSO training, Forklift training, WHMIS, and TDG training certification is an asset. Prior knowledge or experience with a RF gun is preferred. This position is classified as an Individual Contributor role in SMS Equipment’s competency framework, requiring demonstration of core competencies (customer focus, collaboration, and technical/functional expertise).
