Lab Assistant

Lab Assistant Location: West Chester, OH, 45069 Industry Lab is a clinical reference laboratory offering a range of specialty tests to clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to join our team in West Chester, OH. This role will primarily support specimen processing, requisition entry, and daily laboratory operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to learn new laboratory techniques. Responsibilities: Enter and verify laboratory requisitions and patient information in the laboratory information system (LIMS). Receive, organize, and process specimens for diagnostic testing. Perform pipetting and other basic laboratory techniques with accuracy and attention to detail. Prepare samples, reagents, and supplies for laboratory testing. Verify specimen and requisition information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and follow established laboratory procedures. Assist laboratory staff with routine testing preparation and other laboratory activities. Maintain proper storage of specimens, reagents, and laboratory supplies. Assist with inventory management and restocking laboratory materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Associate's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a science-related field Preferred: Previous laboratory experience, particularly with pipetting and specimen processing. Schedule: Monday-Friday 25-30 hours/week Pay: Starting at $20/hour
