LA/LB Port Dispatcher

Overview LA/LB port dispatch experience is a MUST!!! Mandarin speaking required. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of transportation operations. This position requires strong communication skills, an understanding of logistics, and the ability to manage fleet operations effectively. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and routing of transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Duties Make appointment with LA/LB Ports and customers. Assign drivers' work efficiently. Follow and enforce safety procedures to ensure that all drivers and loads arrive safely and on time. Interact with drivers, ocean carriers, terminals and customers for any problems related with the shipment(s) or empties. Requirements 2-3 years working experience of Port Dispatch. Proven experience in dispatching specifically in LA/LB area. Problem-solving skills, high energy level, dependable and hard-working. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Ability to perform well under pressure, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
