Kitting Operator M-F 6:45AM-3PM

Hours: 6:45AM to 3PM Monday through Friday! Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour! This position is eligible for a $3,000 Bonus! $1,500 at 3 Months! $1,500 at 6 Months! Position Summary An associate in Kitting, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, will be responsible for creating kits containing handrails, spindles, directions, templates, and screws for assembly and building. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Contributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations Assembles pre-formed boxes Creates packages containing correct number of items for kitting packages, including hand rails, spindles, printed installation directions, templates and building screws Labels completed boxes Bands and covers completed boxes Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:. Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, warehouse environment. Attention to detail, essential. Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business. Physical Demands Ability to work in an environment that can become cold/ hot (temperature) depending on the weather. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time and occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., occasionally, infrequently. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, mobility to cover expansive facility is required. Travel will not be required. Skills & Abilities Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred Experience: One to three years’ experience in a similar position Other Requirements: Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program; Demonstrated understanding of Kitting processes; Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally; Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences; Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
