Duties Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Support the serving team by providing excellent in-person customer service and food running. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning kitchen surfaces, utensils, and dining areas regularly. Buss tables efficiently, clearing dishes and resetting tables for new guests. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment using safe lifting practices. Support with stock replenishment and inventory management within the kitchen area. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Assist with general kitchen duties including food prep, dishwashing, and maintaining sanitation standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver seamless guest service. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and safety procedures is highly advantageous. Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in customer service roles that involve guest interaction is beneficial.
