Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Receiver/Kitchen Prep, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen and storage facilities. This energetic position involves managing incoming deliveries, preparing ingredients and supplies, and supporting overall inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using warehouse management systems and RF scanners Accurately record inventory data through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems Prepare ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies for daily kitchen operations by stocking and organizing storage areas Load and unload deliveries using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols Assist with order picking, packing, and order fulfillment for both internal use and external shipments Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Support shipping logistics by coordinating with warehouse distribution teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods Use Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes Contribute to trade compliance efforts by following international trade regulations during shipping processes Support warehouse operations by participating in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts Experience Prior experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, or ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs is highly desirable Hands-on experience with warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and logistics operations Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklift certification, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order pickers Strong basic math skills for inventory calculations and data entry accuracy Excellent customer service skills to support internal teams and external vendors effectively Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance practices is a plus Previous warehouse experience involving stocking, packaging, load & unload activities is preferred Join us in creating a seamless supply chain that keeps our kitchen running smoothly!
