Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Designer/Inventory Control Coordinator Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role combines creative design expertise with precise inventory management, ensuring each project meets client expectations while maintaining optimal stock levels. You will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and the design team to deliver exceptional kitchen solutions that blend functionality and style. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in architectural design, project management, and inventory coordination within a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Design & Rendering Support: Convert rough field sketches and measurements into accurate 2D floor plans and 3D perspectives using design software (e.g., 2020 Design and AutoCAD). Administrative & Ordering: Prepare estimates, draft proposals, double-check cabinet order forms for accuracy against design specs, and track delivery timelines with manufacturers. Material Management: Manage inventory levels by tracking cabinet components, hardware, and materials Site Measurements: Process field measurements received. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials while managing budgets for residential interior design projects. Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously by organizing schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining detailed records of all project phases. Excellent communication skills for client consultations, team collaboration, and vendor negotiations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: High school diploma required. Software Skills: Proficiency or familiar exposure to kitchen design software (like 2020 Design, ProKitchen, or Cabinet Vision) or CAD software. Strong general computer skills (Excel, Google Workspace). Attention to Detail : Exceptional organizational skills; a missed 3-inch filler can throw off an entire kitchen install, so accuracy in math and ordering is critical. Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, professional demeanor over the phone, via email, and in person. Logistics : Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional site measurements or local errand running. Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through innovative design while ensuring seamless project execution! This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their expertise in kitchen cabinetry design combined with inventory management—bringing beautiful kitchens to life while keeping operations running smoothly! Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
