Kinaxis Business Lead

Henderson Drake is partnering with a leading global management consultancy to appoint a Kinaxis Business Lead. This is a hybrid role combining client delivery with sales leadership, ideal for a supply chain planning professional who is equally comfortable shaping solution designs and originating new business. The role You will bridge business strategy, supply chain transformation, and technology execution across planning platforms including Kinaxis, o9, and similar solutions. Your time will be split evenly across two areas. Client delivery (50 percent): Lead blueprinting activities that translate business requirements into scalable solution designs, covering process flows, planning logic, data requirements, user roles, and decision support needs. Facilitate workshops and design sessions to define current-state challenges, future-state processes, and functional requirements. Design business processes and solution architecture across demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP and IBP, capacity planning, and order fulfilment. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with operational goals. Assess existing planning processes and tools to determine whether clients are realising intended value, adoption, and operational impact. Sales and business development (50 percent): Partner with management consulting teams to identify and develop opportunities within existing accounts. Proactively qualify and shape new opportunities for planning assessments, Kinaxis implementations, and related transformation initiatives. Lead client-facing sales workshops and discovery sessions to diagnose challenges, quantify value, and position solutions. Collaborate with the Kinaxis direct sales team to pursue joint accounts and progress deals through the sales lifecycle. Contribute to early-stage solutioning, proposal development, client presentations, and solution demonstrations. Build senior client relationships and act as a thought partner on supply chain planning trends and best practice. About you A supply chain planning, business architecture, consulting, or transformation professional, degree-qualified in supply chain, business, engineering, information systems, operations, or a related field. Experienced across supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, S&OP and IBP, scenario planning, and fulfilment. Skilled at leading blueprinting efforts and translating business requirements into functional designs. Experienced in supporting client pursuits, pre-sales activities, or revenue-generating engagements. A strong stakeholder manager and workshop facilitator with excellent presentation, analytical, and communication skills. Desirable: Hands-on experience with Kinaxis, o9, or similar planning platforms. Background in process design, operating model development, and change management. Relevant supply chain platform or discipline certification. Industry experience in CPG and FMCG, high tech, industrial, or life sciences is strongly preferred.
