Key Holder / Lead

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Key Holder / Lead to join our dynamic retail team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted leader on the sales floor, responsible for opening and closing the store, supervising daily operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will drive sales, manage inventory, and support team development while maintaining store standards. Responsibilities Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately Supervise daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding service Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and ensure accurate bookkeeping and payroll processing Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing activities Train new employees on retail procedures, POS systems, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support management in implementing sales strategies, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities Ensure compliance with safety standards, loss prevention protocols, and operational policies Assist in recruiting efforts through interviewing candidates and participating in employee orientation sessions Qualifications Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within the retail industry or grocery stores Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate clearly Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for retail math calculations Experience with cash handling, cashiering, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting processes Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and operational management practices Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Demonstrated ability to train staff on retail product knowledge and operational procedures Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and conflict resolution Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and managing inventory counts as needed Join us as a Key Holder / Lead to inspire your team, enhance store performance, and deliver memorable shopping experiences!
