Responsibilities Assist in opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly Support inventory management through stock replenishment, stock counting, and inventory control processes Oversee cashiering activities including cash handling, POS system operation, and sales transactions Supervise team members during shifts, providing guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and operational tasks Coordinate purchasing activities and assist with merchandising to optimize product presentation and sales opportunities Train new employees on store policies, POS systems, customer service standards, and safety protocols Experience Proven supervisory experience within the retail industry or similar environment with demonstrated leadership skills Strong knowledge of retail sales management, inventory control, and operational procedures Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly valued Experience with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math is essential Familiarity with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development practices Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while overseeing store operations and team activities Previous grocery store or retail management experience is a plus but not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their management expertise while contributing to a vibrant retail community.
