Duties Open and close the store responsibly, ensuring all security protocols are followed Supervise staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to meet sales goals and operational standards Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, ordering, and stock organization to optimize product availability Handle cash register operations including cashiering, POS system management, and cash handling procedures Assist in employee orientation, training new team members on store policies, POS systems, and customer service expectations Oversee merchandising efforts, pricing strategies, and visual displays to attract customers and maximize sales Support operational tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, purchasing, and inventory control to maintain store efficiency Skills Proven management experience within retail industry sales teams with supervisory or assistant manager roles Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, basic accounting principles like budgeting and bookkeeping Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution to enhance shopper satisfaction Experience with inventory management software, purchasing procedures, and operational management practices Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling accurately while maintaining compliance with security protocols Knowledge of retail product lines, merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and stock management Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shift management or store operations This role is perfect for proactive leaders eager to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced retail setting.
