Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented KBB Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of vehicles listed on the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) platform, ensuring optimal inventory levels and competitive pricing. The role involves sourcing, appraising and purchasing vehicles directly from private sellers, repeat customers, service customers and online leads to reduce dependence on auctions. Manage the end-to-end process of acquiring KBB-listed vehicles, including sourcing, evaluation, and purchase negotiations Conduct detailed price negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective deals Work acquisition leads from KBB Instant Cash Offer, CRM, dealership website and service drive Follow up with customers who received appraisals, but have not yet sold Evaluate vehicles for condition, mileage, history, etc Work with used car management to understand aging inventory What We're Looking For Experience in vehicle acquisition, used-car purchasing, automotive sales, appraisal, or wholesale/auction buying Strong grasp of used-vehicle market values and pricing Confident negotiator with strong phone/text/email outreach skills Highly organized with excellent follow-up habits Comfortable using CRM and appraisal/valuation tools Bilingual candidates preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with management Join our team as a KBB Vehicle Acquisition Specialist if you’re passionate about driving strategic procurement initiatives in a vibrant environment.
