ConfidentialJunior Pricing Analyst Location: Long Beach, CA Department: Pricing Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Pricing Manager / Pricing Team Lead Position Summary Logwin Logistics US Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Pricing Analyst to support our pricing team in developing competitive and accurate rates for customers and business opportunities. This position will assist with preparing freight quotations, maintaining rate information, analyzing costs and margins, and supporting pricing requests from our sales and operations teams. The ideal candidate has an interest in logistics and international freight forwarding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with large amounts of pricing information while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing and maintaining customer freight quotations and pricing proposals. Support pricing requests from sales, operations, and management teams. Gather and analyze freight rates from carriers, agents, vendors, and other service providers. Enter, update, and maintain pricing and rate information in internal systems and databases. Assist with ocean, air, drayage, trucking, warehousing, customs, and other logistics-related pricing as assigned. Compare carrier and vendor rates to identify competitive pricing opportunities. Assist with calculating costs, selling rates, markups, and profit margins. Review pricing requests for accuracy, completeness, and required supporting information. Help maintain customer-specific rates, tariffs, contracts, and pricing agreements. Track rate changes and communicate relevant updates to internal teams. Assist with RFQs, RFPs, and other customer pricing projects. Research market rates and competitor pricing when needed. Work closely with sales and operations to ensure pricing reflects current market conditions and operational requirements. Assist with resolving pricing discrepancies and questions from internal teams. Maintain organized pricing files and documentation. Support the Pricing Team with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, supply chain, pricing, or a related field preferred. Previous experience with ocean, air, import/export, drayage, or other freight forwarding operations is a plus. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and large amounts of data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with sales, operations, accounting, and other departments. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. High level of organization and follow-through. Preferred Qualifications Experience working for a freight forwarder, NVOCC, carrier, customs broker, or transportation company. Previous experience using CargoWise or another transportation management system is preferred. Familiarity with international shipping terminology and logistics processes. Experience working with freight rates, carrier tariffs, customer quotations, or vendor pricing. Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic data analysis. Experience supporting RFQs, RFPs, or customer pricing projects. Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent logistics or industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
