Position Summary: The Junior Document and Inventory Control Specialist supports the Purchasing and Planning department by managing physical inventory control as well as ERP (Plex) inventory accuracy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review picks/pull paperwork for production based on current schedule in a timely manner, verify warehouse accurately picked/pulled ingredients Conduct Daily/Weekly/Month end cycle counts on all inventory (following Claremont Foods cycle count rotation) Monitor inventory accuracy upon return to warehouse (post-production) Manage inventory control tasks related to picks and returns, inventory destruction forms, ingredient shelf life, and cycle count program. Assist in analyzing costs associated with inventory adjustments. Understanding of how to Receive inventory into ERP software system with correct quantities, lot numbers, and costs. Update and maintain weekly and monthly reports, offering analysis and communicating information to Document and Inventory Control Specialist. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food Safety Level 2 compliance standards; as trained upon annually. Provides administrative support to the Document and Inventory Control Specialist including data entry, filing and general clerical duties. Helps maintain and update documents and reports, ensuring accuracy and version control. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong proficiency with typing and data entry skills High levels of thoroughness, decision making and independence Ability to analyze reporting data Experience using an ERP software system Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Ability to interact in a positive way with all people within the organization Qualifications: 1-3 years’ related experience and degree preferred/combination of both Physical Requirements: On floor vs office: Floor Standing/Walking/Sitting: Yes/Yes/Yes Required to wear PPE: No additional PPE, follow CF standard clothing policy (GMPs) Lifting Requirements: Must have the ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or carry 51-100+ lbs. Must have the ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push or pull 51-100 lbs. Must be able to frequently use the computer for data entry and use of mouse. Must be able to constantly walk and stand for the duration of the work shift. Must be able to frequently use fine motor manipulations, grip, squat, kneel, bend, twist, turn, reach outward, and reach above chest.
