About EMCORE LLC EMCORE LLC is a leading independent provider of advanced inertial navigation solutions for the aerospace, defense, commercial, and industrial sectors. As pioneers in fiber optic gyros, ring laser gyros, and MEMS technologies, we drive innovation across a wide range of navigation applications. Position Summary: This position is responsible for purchasing components and developing strong relationships with a variety of suppliers. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, the role balances supply continuity to support customer demand and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for submitting requisitions, securing quotations, processing orders and reacting to demand changes through ERP system. Work with Engineering and Quality to ensure suppliers are technically qualified. Supporting Supplier Scorecard Program. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and ERP data. Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks, including extended lead times, allocation challenges, obsolescence concerns, and supplier constraints. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. Review inventory levels, support inventory reduction plans. Ad hoc support functions as assigned. Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience with inventory and supply chain processes. Working knowledge of ERP systems (such as INFOR) and advanced Excel. Familiarity with electronic components, PCB fabrication processes, and reading technical schematics. Knowledge / Experience with ISO-9001, AS-9100, and IPC Requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Education: College degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Compensation: This position offers salary range of $45K - $65K depending on the candidate's experience, skill set, and overall qualifications.
