Jr. Buyer

Job Overview Regent Aerospace is looking for a Jr. Buyer, You’ll Purchase materials, supplies, and services at the best possible price while maintaining the highest level of quality and ensuring timely delivery. Performs planning and scheduling functions on designated jobs, assists in shipping and receiving as required. Work with vendors and internal teams to review pricing, monitor inventory, and maintain accurate purchasing records. This role is suited to someone who enjoys detailed analysis, clear communication, and practical problem-solving. Duties Support procurement and purchasing management by preparing purchase orders and tracking order status. Review inventory levels, materials management needs, and material requirements planning (MRP) data to help maintain inventory control. Analyze pricing, spreadsheets, and Excel data to support sourcing and purchasing decisions. Communicate with vendors, support vendor relationship management, and assist with vendor negotiation and direct negotiation procurement. Maintain purchasing records and reports using purchasing management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; coordinate with accounting and supply chain teams. Your impact: Accurate order and inventory tracking helps internal teams plan supply needs and serve customers reliably. Skills Required: Strong organization, attention to detail, vendor communication, and spreadsheet skills, including Excel data analysis. Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, inventory management, pricing, and negotiation. accounting software; experience with technically supported purchasing management systems is useful. Understanding of vendor relationship management, vendor negotiation, materials management, MRP, and inventory control is an asset. Ability to collaborate across purchasing management and supply chain teams while managing multiple priorities.
