Job Summary: The Job Production Administrator supports production activities across multiple departments and locations. Working under the direction of leadership, this role helps keep jobs moving by following and tracking the job production process both on the production floor and in the computer system. This includes gathering and verifying job information, identifying missing details, and following up with production teams to resolve issues. This role will develop, implement, and maintain systems that will accurately help mirror the shop floor with our ERP management software. This includes providing training and guidance to ensure that processes and systems reflect actual job production activities, improve data accuracy, and provide clear visibility into job production status, costs, and inventory. This is a temp-to-hire position. Key Responsibilities and Areas of Accountability Job Production/Administration/Communications Support Perform important job production/administrative functions, including daily job completion, tracking job stops, entering receiving items, mass issuing of materials and labor entry in Epicor Kinetic production management software. Support with cycle counts including identifying and counting purchased and manufactured parts. Create, manage, run, and submit data reports by assembling, preparing, auditing, and analyzing data. Enter data and maintain databases and spreadsheets according to company standards. Work closely with the Inventory and Job Coordinators on job production completion. Support inventory activities both through physical inventory management and data management. Systems Management/Record Maintenance Monitor job production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet changing demands and prioritize urgent orders. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and operations teams to investigate production bottlenecks or root-cause failures and propose solutions. Retrieve, input, and merge data from plant floors, quality control systems, and manufacturing databases. Maintain accurate job production records and provide timely information to engineering and production teams. Communicate information to stakeholders regarding receiving and job management to assist in inventory management and proper costing as well as efficiently posting on proper Team channels. Proactively work to identify and resolve internal and external production, inventory, receiving, labor & operation issues on jobs and explain data trends clearly to production supervisors and job coordinators. Check raw operational numbers for errors, inconsistencies, or unusual trends, and clean datasets for analysis. The regular schedule for this position is M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm. Business casual production/office setting and must be able to sit, stand, and walk. Steel-toed boots are required.
