JIT / Inventory Control Manager Location: Daytona, FL Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Must be flexible to work any shift based on business needs Reports To: Operations Manager FLSA Status: Exempt About the Position We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory control operations within a fast-paced Distribution Center. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity , overseeing cycle counts, analyzing inventory discrepancies, managing WMS reports and inventory transactions, and supervising Inventory Control Leads and Associates. The ideal candidate is an analytical and hands-on leader with strong WMS, Excel, inventory control, and warehouse supervision experience . What You'll Do Manage daily Inventory Control operations across all shifts. Supervise and support Inventory Control Leads and Associates. Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity throughout the Distribution Center. Manage the Cycle Count Program and investigate inventory discrepancies. Create and re-profile pick locations for new and existing items. Run and analyze inventory reports, including Pick Hits, Lost in Cycle Count, Expiration Management, and Inventory Adjustments. Process and oversee Transfer Orders (TOs), Return to Vendor (RTV), and product dispositions . Research PO discrepancies and other inventory-related issues. Identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Monitor inventory levels and work to minimize Temporary Out of Stocks (TOS) and shortages. Perform QA checks and spot-check product code dates. Support inventory audits and inventory integrity initiatives. Assist the Control Center with inventory-related activities. Attend daily production meetings and communicate inventory priorities. Enforce company policies, safety rules, production requirements, and sanitation standards. Prepare incident reports and document employee errors when required. Assign daily duties and coordinate breaks, work schedules, and vacations. Conduct employee evaluations in accordance with company HR policies. Support warehouse supervisors and associates with procedures, policies, and operational questions. Address customer concerns by reviewing discrepancy reports and supporting appropriate resolutions. Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment. Ensure quality and productivity expectations are communicated and maintained. Perform other duties as assigned by the Distribution Center and Operations Manager. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications 2+ years of warehouse supervisory experience , preferably in wholesale, distribution, or a high-volume warehouse environment. Experience with Inventory Control and warehouse operations . Strong WMS (Warehouse Management System) knowledge. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office . Experience with cycle counting, inventory adjustments, and discrepancy research. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve inventory issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees. Proven leadership and team-management skills. Ability to manage a diverse workforce. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced Distribution Center environment. Flexibility to work any shift based on business needs. Preferred Qualifications College coursework in Management, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience in the wholesale industry. Experience with inventory reporting and WMS/ERP systems. Forklift experience or certification. Experience with Transfer Orders, RTVs, inventory dispositions, and shortage management. Experience with expiration management and product code-date verification.
