Jewelry Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled sale associate to join our team in a dynamic jewelry store. The ideal candidate would possess a knowledge of fine jewelry and stones and/or experience working in a customer service role. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently. We maintain and inclusive environment and are a close knit group! We need someone for Saturdays and can offer one or two other days with flexibility, with the possibility of future growth. Reponsibilities/Desired Skills: Help clients look for custom jewelry, take in repairs, and assit with purchasing jewelry as gifts for loved ones Answer the phone Build relationships with customers and make them feel welcomed and taken care of A knowledge of our jewelry lines and how to talk about wedding jewelry Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor, gently guide customers to making decisions about their purchases Take detailed, clear and concise notes about incoming jobs Follow up with customers about their work, know job workflow/timelines, and take deposits Strong communication skills Collaborate with team members about various jewelry projects Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the shop and out on the sales floor Assist in inventory management, including the organization of materials and finished goods Maintain with our social media pages within our branding Experience Previous experience working in a jewelry store and/or in a customer service role High school or college level education If you are passionate about jewelry (and snack sharing) and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
