About the Role We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Jewelry Resale Operations Coordinator to support our growing resale and fulfillment operations for our rapidly growing jewelry e-commerce marketplace (shop.thealloymarket.com). You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to keep the jewelry resale program running smoothly. You will help us tag and catalog new jewelry inventory and post inventory on online marketplaces for sale,supporting live shows, coordinate fulfillment, and ensure resale-ready items move accurately through Alloy’s process. This is a hands-on, process-driven role ideal for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys working with jewelry, and can multitask across operational, logistical, and client-facing functions. You’ll play a key part in making sure every item that enters or leaves Alloy is properly tracked, represented, and fulfilled with care. Flexibility and the willingness to take on other duties as assigned is key. While our goal is to hire a technical, non-sales role with demonstrated experience in gemstone identification, precision measurement and jewelry resale product cataloging, we are open to other candidate profiles. What You’ll Do Marketplace Operations & Inventory Management (Primary) Support the full lifecycle of Alloy’s jewelry resale program from intake to fulfillment. Tag, label, and bag jewelry according to Alloy’s resale SOPs and categorization systems. Maintain organization and tracking for all resale inventory across platforms and storage areas. Prepare jewelry for live shows and assist during broadcasts. Check items out and back in for live resellers, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and accountability. Other duties as assigned. Fulfillment & Logistics (Primary) Package and ship sold items promptly and accurately. Assist in coordinating product flow between Alloy’s resale room, operations area, and live sale zones. Customer Service & Live Show Support (Secondary) Respond to customer messages and inquiries on third party resale platforms (e.g., eBay). Assist live show hosts and operators with product handoffs, labeling, and time-sensitive tasks during broadcasts. Help organize post-show reconciliation and ensure inventory is correctly updated afterward. What We’re Looking For Knowledgeable, Trustworthy & Reliable: Ideally, you possess a solid base knowledge of gemstones and jewelry as you’ll be identifying and inventorying jewelry almost daily. Detail-Oriented: You take pride in accuracy and organization, from measurements to labeling to shipping to updating inventory.
