Job Summary Le Fanfare is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Italian Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing activities, inventory planning, and supplier coordination for restaurant operations. Requirements Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or restaurant operations is preferred. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Good communication and supplier coordination abilities. Basic proficiency in spreadsheets and purchasing or inventory software. Ability to review order details, quantities, prices, and invoices accurately. Understanding of food storage, ingredient quality, and inventory rotation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet purchasing deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience in an Italian restaurant or hospitality environment. Familiarity with Italian ingredients, specialty food products, and restaurant supply requirements. Knowledge of purchase orders, supplier quotations, and invoice reconciliation. Experience monitoring inventory and coordinating deliveries. Basic cost analysis and budgeting skills. Education or training in supply chain management, business administration, or hospitality management is an advantage. Work Environment The Italian Purchasing Coordinator works closely with restaurant management, kitchen staff, suppliers, and administrative personnel.
