ITAD Bench Technician

Summary/Objective The Asset Retirement Technician position will work under the supervision of the ITAD Life Cycle Manager to process IT assets for resale, refurbishment, or recycling. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, testing/refurbishing equipment, accurately entering inventory in a database. To succeed in this role, the individual should have customer service skills and attention to detail, as well as knowledge of or desire to learn about IT equipment. Test and refurbish IT equipment Enter product details and specifications into an inventory database Clean refurbished products for remarketing Cultivate positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Proficient in all department and company policies, procedures and processes. Maintain warehouse environment to HTG standards as assigned Report consistently and on time to work Report on time and consistently to all team meetings Perform other work-related duties as assigned Competencies Excellent attention to detail Willing to fill in where business needs dictate, and go above and beyond what is required Technical Capacity Exceptional customer service skills Accurate data entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills General knowledge of consumer electronics (computers, mobile devices, and peripherals) Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook and Access Internet research skills Ability to communicate and cooperate with customers to resolve issues Ability to work in a team and take direction well
