IT Support Technician-- Level 1 -- Pharmaceutical

OVERVIEW The mission of the IT support technician is to provide and support users and information systems in a standardized and structured manner (level 1), to keep the inventory of systems and assets up to date and to act as coordinator for all support and service requests. He/She is responsible for ensuring that services are provided in compliance with service agreements and in accordance with regulatory standards. RESPONSIBILITIES · Incident management (ensuring level 1 support) · Documentation of incidents and standard processes · Backup operations · System maintenance/configuration · Interaction/Knowledge transfer with customers · Provision of IT services and assistance · Maintain inventory of systems and assets QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: · Knowledge of ITIL principles · Knowledge of GXP principles · Good analytical skills and curiosity. · Customer service. · Ability to work without or with minimal supervision. · Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: · Certificate/diploma in information technology. · A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in functions related to information technology, such as systems support, user support, backup operations, inventory management, equipment orders, initiating purchase orders in SAP. · Sufficient experience in SAP system support level. · Outstanding expertise in customer service · Recognized skills in IT process improvements. Pay: $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
