If you are a skilled IT Procurement Specialist with great customer service, we have a spot for you. The person in this role will be responsible for executing and managing procurement-related workflows within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This role ensures the timely and accurate sourcing, quoting, purchasing, receiving, and tracking of hardware, software, and subscription-based products for both clients and internal use. The IT Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring data accuracy within systems, and supporting operational efficiency across the quote-to-cash lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. This position is on-site at the office in San Antonio, TX. Pay range-$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Summary of duties and responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): Develop and improve vendor relationships Research the market for the highest quality products at the lowest possible price Maintain and monitor the quote to purchasing Receiving in ConnectWise and tagging equipment Prepare Quotes in ConnectWise Sell Track client subscriptions and support renewals Track deliveries – receive and document in CRM Maintain product listings, with price and cost information Follow clear and precise documentation practices Implement process improvements for better efficiency and documentation Prepare RMAs as needed Assist with asset management and tracking Tracking and maintaining internal and client subscription and support renewals What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications): Experience working with technology environment; pricing & quote preparation experience a plus Experience working in an MSP ideal Experience working with a ticketing system Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Windows based computer applications Solid internet research skills What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): Process driven and attention to detail with accuracy in performing procurement responsibilities Good judgement Strong follow through Interpersonal skills: accurate and professional communication skills, active listening, and customer-care Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment Basic knowledge of software and volume licensing with suppliers like Microsoft Physical Requirements: · Stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time. · Ability to lift/push/pull 40 lbs.
