IT Procurement Buyer
Neotecra Inc.Position Summary The Procurement Buyer Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing, RFP execution, contract negotiations, and supplier management for assigned procurement categories. The role works closely with project managers, legal, finance, and business stakeholders to drive cost savings, ensure compliance, and deliver value throughout the procurement lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFP development, issuance, evaluation, and award recommendations. Manage multiple procurement requisitions of varying complexity and value. Analyze business requirements and identify cost-saving and spend consolidation opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and validate Statements of Work (SOWs). Negotiate contracts and manage the full contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, and closeout. Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, pricing accuracy, and service delivery. Prepare procurement documentation and board approval packages as required. Support supplier diversity initiatives and procurement policy compliance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field. Minimum 6 years of sourcing, procurement, and contract management experience. Strong experience with RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier management. Knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, procurement policies, and contract administration. Experience with ERP purchasing systems (PeopleSoft preferred). Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Public sector or government procurement experience. Knowledge of statutory procurement regulations and board approval processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
