IT Operations Associate - Fulfillment

About Remota At Remota, we manage technology for our clients across its full lifecycle. Every laptop, desktop, tablet, and mobile device that comes through our doors is tracked, packed, shipped, and handled with care. We make sure the right equipment gets to the right people, on time and in perfect condition. The Role As a Fulfillment Associate, you’ll keep equipment moving through our warehouse. You’ll pick, pack, and ship devices to our clients and their employees, receive new inventory and incoming returns, and keep inventory accurate. This is a hands-on warehouse role. Accuracy matters on every order, because each shipment is a device someone is counting on. During slower periods, you’ll be trained on our device processing work, including secure data erasure, hardware testing, and setting up Windows and macOS devices. No technical experience is needed. If you’re curious about technology, this is a chance to build real IT skills on the job. What You’ll Do Pick, pack, and ship laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices accurately and on schedule Receive and check in new inventory from suppliers and manufacturers, as well as returned devices from clients, keeping inventory records up to date Label, organize, and store equipment so everything is easy to find Prepare outbound orders, including packaging, shipping labels, and carrier pickups Assist with inventory counts and audits Support the team on special projects as needed Make client pickups and deliveries in a company vehicle Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, including operating pallet jacks What You’ll Learn Securely erasing data from devices using established procedures Testing, inspecting, cleaning, and grading returned hardware Imaging, updating, and configuring Windows and macOS devices Coordinating warranty repairs with manufacturers Required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for most of your shift Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail Comfort following step-by-step procedures consistently Nice to Have Forklift experience or certification Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or logistics Familiarity with inventory systems or barcode scanning Basic familiarity with Windows or macOS Flexibility to work occasional weekends during high-volume periods Why Remota We’re a small team where everyone’s work matters.
