Position Summary We are a managed service provider (MSP) supporting enterprise clients with large-scale IT fleet operations. We're seeking an IT Asset & Logistics Coordinator to own the lifecycle of client hardware — primarily laptops and iPads — from procurement and deployment through repurposing and retirement. This role is the operational backbone of our device management: shipping, receiving, cataloging, and tracking thousands of assets while keeping clients informed and coordinating closely with the broader helpdesk team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing high volume without letting anything slip through the cracks. * Note that this is a short-term 3 month position. This may change depending on future business needs. Key Responsibilities Ship and receive laptops, iPads, and related IT equipment, ensuring accurate handling at every stage. Catalog and tag all incoming and outgoing assets, maintaining clean, accurate records in an asset management platform (e.g., AssetPanda or equivalent). Manage the full asset lifecycle — provisioning, deployment, repurposing, and decommissioning — for an enterprise client fleet numbering in the thousands. Coordinate logistics, including arranging shipments, rerouting deliveries as needed, and tracking packages through to delivery. Proactively update clients on shipment status, timelines, and any exceptions or delays. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the ticketing system, documenting all asset activity and requests. Partner with the IT helpdesk team to ensure client requests are fulfilled promptly and the client is fully serviced end to end. Conduct periodic audits and reconciliation to keep asset data accurate and identify discrepancies. Required Qualifications Prior experience in IT asset management, logistics, inventory, or a related coordination role. Familiarity with asset management/tracking software (AssetPanda, Snipe-IT, ServiceNow, or similar). Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, Zendesk, Jira, or equivalent). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large volumes accurately. Clear written and verbal communication skills for client-facing updates. Ability to work collaboratively within a helpdesk/service delivery team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an MSP or enterprise IT environment. Familiarity with shipping/logistics platforms and carrier tracking tools. Understanding of device provisioning workflows for Windows and iOS/iPadOS devices.
