Inventory Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Inventory Technician to support fiber optic installation and telecommunications field operations. This role involves installing and configuring customer equipment, testing fiber connections, diagnosing service issues, and maintaining accurate technical records. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fiber-optic systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to quality service. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and test fiber-optic equipment, ONTs, routers, and related components. Inspect connections, measure signal strength, and identify technical faults. Troubleshoot connectivity issues and perform authorized repairs or replacements. Maintain accurate service records, equipment details, and test results. Organize tools, equipment, and materials while following established safety procedures. Coordinate with technical teams and communicate service updates to customers. Qualifications: Experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, or technical field service. Knowledge of fiber connections, optical testing tools, ONTs, and basic networking. Strong diagnostic, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to service locations. Ability to perform field duties safely and work independently.
