Summary The Inventory Technician is responsible for receiving and pulling of raw materials and ensuring inventory accuracy. The activities involve, meticulous planning through cross-functional interactions and seamless flow of biomaterials from inventory to lab technicians. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure that material is pulled and available for lab techs in a timely manner. Ensure that material is returned to their long-term storage locations and updated in FreezerPro daily. Integrate new stock material into inventory as soon as possible. Monitor stock levels of inventory and work with procurement team to replenish stock as needed. Assist Operations Team and Lab Team on an as needed basis. Participate in quarterly inventory counts Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A strong background in NHA Operations and Inventory function is preferred Education And/or Experience High school graduate or experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in a biological or chemical science field preferred but not necessary. Other Skills And Abilities Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including MS Office Ability to work in a team laboratory environment with knowledge or familiarity with scientific terminology. Excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
