Inventory-Storeroom Clerk – Maintenance EXCEL Group is a renowned industrial contractor with a commitment to excellence and a track record of delivering exceptional projects. We are looking to identify talented and dedicated candidates for a future Inventory-Storeroom Clerk position supporting Maintenance operations. The Inventory-Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting efficient operations within our industrial facility. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming materials, parts, and supplies. Verify quantities and quality received against purchase orders and packing slips. Properly label and store items in designated locations within the storeroom. Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems or manual logs. Process requisitions and distribute materials to production or maintenance departments as requested. Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies. Create bin locations and labels for new inventory items. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies for handling hazardous materials or equipment. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storeroom and associated storage areas. Requirements 2 years of previous warehouse experience required. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and every other weekend. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required. SAP experience preferred. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods and regularly stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to work in varying temperatures depending on the season. Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills required. Must be dependable and reliable. Must be able to pass drug screening. Must be able to pass a background check.
