Inventory Specialist – Spare Parts & Raw Materials

About the role IDEAL Fastener is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate spare parts inventory for production equipment and perform cycle counts of raw materials. This is a hands-on role focused on inventory accuracy and supporting continuous production. Pay: $17-$20 per hour, with part-time and full-time schedules available. Key responsibilities Maintain spare parts inventory for production machinery (stock levels, locations, and usage tracking) Perform regular cycle counts of raw materials and spare parts Reconcile physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies Process inventory adjustments in the ERP (Business Central) system with proper documentation Ensure critical parts are available to support production and maintenance Maintain organized storage locations and accurate inventory records Collaborate with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, and Finance teams Qualifications Required 2+ years of inventory control, cycle counting, or materials experience (manufacturing preferred) Experience with ERP/inventory systems Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel High school diploma or equivalent Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Application Question(s): Tell us about your experience working with inventory.
