Inventory Specialist Role: The role of the inventory specialist is to support the team by managing our online inventory listings of medical equipment through multiple platforms. Further, you will be supporting the sales and shipping departments in the inbound and outbound processes through the safe loading, unloading, cleaning, inventorying, warehouse storing, and prepping for global shipment of healthcare assets. Additionally, you will be supporting the purchasing team by assisting with the physical acquisition of medical equipment throughout the northeast. Tasks and Responsibilities: Managing inventory listings through various online platforms Cleaning/prepping equipment for sales team Storing/inventory equipment Prepping/shipping equipment Trips throughout the Northeast to acquire medical equipment Lifting and safely using equipment to move medical devices Professional communication with facility staff Loading/unloading of medical equipment from trucks Other tasks to assist the team in company goals About the Ideal Candidate Required Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License Great driving record (MVR check required High school diploma or equivalent Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods Understanding or willingness to learn about, test, and clean medical equipment Thrives in an independent workplace and values teamwork Strong and professional verbal communication skills, proactive problem solving, and problem resolution. Flexibility to travel throughout the Northeast, sometimes with late notice, including navigating city hospital docks and driving in northeast conditions. Flexibility to work flexible hours during pickup trips, which may include early mornings, late nights, and occasional overnight stays. Preferred: Basic computer proficiency Experience in regional route driving Experience in an inventory and/or warehouse position Experience using warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, strapping/banding equipment, scales, and basic hand and power tools.
