Role Description The Inventory Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vista, CA. This position is responsible for performing regular physical inventory counts, monitoring stock levels, and reconciling discrepancies across warehouses and storage areas. Day-to-day tasks include updating inventory records, processing receipts and transfers, and maintaining accurate data in inventory management systems. The Inventory Specialist collaborates with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure product availability, timely fulfillment, and adherence to inventory control procedures. The role also involves organizing storage spaces, labeling products, and supporting process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Physical Inventory and Inventory Management to accurately track and reconcile stock levels. Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control to implement procedures that prevent loss, errors, and stock discrepancies. Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to work effectively with internal teams and support order fulfillment needs. Experience using inventory or ERP software and proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, databases) is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, warehouse or production environment are preferred. Prior experience in inventory, logistics, manufacturing, or related fields and a high school diploma or equivalent are advantageous.
